My name shall be great

World history is unfolding exactly as prophesied by Malachi. Only in Christ has this prophecy been fulfilled. People all over the globe have been worshipping the God of the Tanakh because of the Messiah proclaimed in the New Testament—dating back to the 1st century (the four Gospels, Paul, John, Peter, James, Jude, etc.)—like no other human figure in history. The faith spread quite successfully without the aid of Islam for 600 years, without the aid of Constantine for 300 years, and without the aid of Joseph Smith for 1,800 years. None of those later movements would exist if the original Christian faith had not spread throughout the world on its own, quite fine without any of them. In fact, the spread of Christianity is the reason all those later groups became involved in the first place.

The Gnostic Jesus is dead. The Greek gods are dead. The gods that competed against Yahweh before Christ are all gods of dead religions. So it is clear, among all this mess, who is indeed the one true God. Islam is a Johnny-come-lately. Hinduism is just as much a threat as the Greek gods once were. Darwinism keeps morphing and changing with each new discovery, and the Big Bang—the idea that everything came from a single point with no rhyme or reason—only hangs on because the schools continue to teach naturalism from pre-K through PhD, and to keep tenure and funding, professors must continue to believe it. It survives because of state backing and funding and people really believe in it even with all its holes. There are two kinds of science: repeatable, testable, observable which all mostly agree on and have very few holes and then there are the origin stories and stories of history interpreted only by a naturalistic lens which seems to always be up for revision and change and morphism etc etc etc. Hardly, anything to stand upon for truth. Meanwhile Jesus is the same today yesterday and forevermore and continues to this day to change hearts world over just as predicted and foreknown by the Bible alone.

Just like all the other competitors of Yahweh in the past, these too will all pass away—unless it all burns up before then.

“For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same My name shall be great among the Gentiles; And in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: For my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.” Malachi 1:11

This verse can apply to no other than Jesus when one reads along with the above verse: Psalm 141:2 and ponder the Eucharist/Communion/Remembrance of Me sacrifice of Christ for our sins remembered all around this world. Only Jesus fulfills the Tanakh.

Trust Jesus for only He has fulfilled the prophecies predicting Himself before He was born and before world history occurred to which He Himself predicted too and again before it all happened. Isaiah 49:6b, Acts 1:6-8, Isaiah 42:9, Isaiah 40:8, Matthew 24:35.

His word has come to pass and continues to do so and everything else will come to pass that has yet to but for now read: 2 Peter 3:7-9

Trust Jesus over whatever it is you may be trusting over Him. He has fulfilled some most amazing prophecies predicted by the Tanakh (not so easy prophecies to fulfill mind you) and so we can have great confidence that He will fulfill the rest. Open the eyes of unbelieving Israel to their Messiah, Lord (Yahweh) and maybe one of them read Isaiah 53.

God bless…

P.S. – who is the most famous individual in human history! Has not Christ fulfilled the mission.
