Have faith in Jesus

Jesus of the New Testament is the most trusted scholar, interpreter, explainer, understander of the Scriptures of all time and history. He has outlasted the gnostics, the Holy Roman Empire, the Roman Empire, and every heresiarch who tried to replace Him. Because of Jesus, worship of Yahweh has endured while the gods of Egypt, Assyria, Sumer, and Akkad have faded into myth. Yahweh has shown Himself to be the enduring and faithful One from generation to generation.Because of Jesus, Yahweh is known, loved, respected, and worshipped around the world like no other. Even with hypocrites, “tares,” and false believers mixed in, He continues to endure and prevail. We will always have “the tares” among us, but we will also always have “the wheat.” In the end, Jesus will sort it all out.

Trust this Jesus over whatever else you’re trusting—even if that “something else” is yourself. God bless.

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he was approved as being righteous—God approving his gifts—and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks. By faith Enoch was taken up so that he would not see death; and he was not found because God took him up; for prior to being taken up, he was approved as being pleasing to God. And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who draws near to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.” Hebrews 11:1–6

“All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. And indeed if they had been remembering that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now, they aspire to a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He prepared a city for them.” Hebrews 11:13–16

Will you die trusting Jesus over yourself and the things of the world and be looking forward to that “better country” or are you settled with this world and trusting yourself with the words of mere mortals into the afterlife!

Jesus said “Unless you believe I am He you will die in your sins”. But He came to die in your place so you would not have to die in your sins! “Thou shalt call His name Jesus; for He shall save His people from their sins”. He said that He would draw all sort of men and women, Jews and Gentiles, unto Himself by the cross! Look to the cross and be found believing your Lord and Savior into the next life!

If you don’t trust Jesus you won’t follow Him and He is the only way to Our Father who art in heaven!
