The gods are dead

It’s the Greco-Roman gods that are dead.

Jesus, however, is trucking quite fine thruout history.

“But the Lord is the true God, He is the living God, and an everlasting king: At his wrath the earth shall tremble, And the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.” (Jeremiah 10:10–11)

“The voice said, Cry.

And he said, What shall I cry?

All flesh is grass, And all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: Because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: Surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: But the word of our God shall stand for ever. (Isaiah 40:6–8)

“Heaven and earth shall pass away but my shall never pass away…I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father, but by me” – Jesus

Did you know that the Biblical writings from the BC (BCE) predicted a coming “Servant/Messiah” who would bring God’s word to the nations world over? Did you know that Jesus claimed to be that Messiah and claimed that His message would go to the nations world over? Did you know that Jesus predicted both good and bad players in His multicultural kingdom? Did you know Jesus said His kingdom is not of this world? And yet the gates of hell would not prevail against it.

The rest is history….

“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:18–20)

“When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.” (Acts 1:6–9)

Trust the most trusted interpreter of Scripture of all time! There are many good reasons to do so, God bless.

  1. Yep, as usual, more false claims by a cultist. Unsurprsingly, no evidence for any gods, including the many many versions of the christian one.

all poor TJ has are stories about prophecies and stories about the prophecies being fulfilled. He has yet to show his imaginary friend is real and he has yet to show that the other gods aren’t. It’s very hard to show something *doesn’t* exist.
