Jeremiah 44! Whoa….when you know your on the wrong highway…
Let us trust Jesus over whatever god we find appealing even if it be ourselves! God bless…
“And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.” – Paul, just before his conversion to trusting in Jesus above all else including himself from Acts 9:5
Paul seemed to be much more successful of a preacher than Jeremiah but succes is never defined by success but rather obedience to God! Besides their is more Godness spread in this world thru the faithfully obedient than not and who is this “queen of heaven” anyways. The One True God always shines thru our history as all the “queens”, of the glorious God created heavens, seem to continue to get lost to time and so it will be of todays gods.
And let us not be found rejecting our everlasting Creator for the temporary gods of the times and seasons that time itself does away with.
Jesus in Hebrew means “Yahweh (the LORD) is salvation”.
“And thou shalt call His name JESUS; for He shall save His people from their sins” – Matthew 1:21
“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. Now unto the King ETERNAL, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” – 1 Timothy 1:15-17
Chronos and all the versions of the “queen/s” of heaven (heaven being one giant clock by which we measure time itself by) from ages past are hardly FIT candidates as to be gods of time/heaven as time itself has ended their FITNESS.
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” – Ephesians 3;20-21
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” – Hebrews 13:8
“I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” – Jesus Matthew 28:20
