“…seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33

His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon. They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon. Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found. Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.” – Hosea 14:1-9

“THUS SAITH THE LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD….Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.” – Jeremiah 17:5,7

Who are we trusting?

“Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” – Joshua 24:14-15

Every generation and person gets to choose God over all else or anything else whatever it may be over God!

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” – Jesus Matthew 6:24-34

What about the other so called gospels and other claims of Jesus outside of the 4? It is the 4 that changed the world and we have so much more manuscript evidence for [bar none] nor any other piece of literature in the history of the world for that matter [bar none]. The Jesus of the 4 is the Jesus that split time not these Johnny come lately(s) or Johnny where have been for the last 1900 years while the 4 have been plowing, sweating, dying and providential preserving the truth and established the Jesus the world has known for the last 2000 years and running!
