Put your name in the place of Caleb! Dream big! By God’s grace and in His strength we can please the almight Creator of Heaven and earth! It can only be done first by believing in Him!

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6

Caleb pleased God as He believed in God that they could take the land while everybody else was saying their enemies were to much for them:

“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” – Numbers 13:30‭-‬33

God said of the doubters: “surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:” Numbers 14:23

But of the one trusting in God (Caleb) God says this: “but my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.” – Numbers 14:24

Now its our turn.

“If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: HE THAT BELEIVETH NOT GOD HATH MADE HIM A LIAR; BECAUSE HE BELIEVETH NOT THE RECORD THAT GOD GAVE OF HIS SON. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:9‭-‬12

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

“But God commendeth (shown or proven) his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep….No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again….” – John 10:11,18

If God were to visit the world for 33 years, would it not look like that which is recorded in the gospels?! He died to wash you clean of all your sins and then to walk in grace overcoming sins. Yes we can believing in Jesus!

Be caught believing in Him like Caleb and not like those doubters!

Get into His Word daily: “….Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” – Matthew 4:4

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night.” – Psalm 1:1‭-‬2

And practice what you read: “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: he is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.” – Luke 6:46‭-‬49

It will not always be easy but you will be walking with Jesus and it won’t ultimately matter how easy or hard it is but rather that you are with Jesus and that Jesus is with you thru it all.

And don’t forsake gathering with other believers. They need you and you need them. I have been delinquent in this area of my life and could be so much better off but God is gracious and I am doing better on this.

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:23‭-‬25

Some of us are more shy and loanerish than others but just obey God in this if you are and then obey God where He takes in this. Just do it for Him at first and I think your eyes will be opened as you get closer to other bros and sisters in the Lord. Always, remember they are your brothers and sisters in the Lord and treat them as such. No church is perfect but find a church that is trusting Jesus and following His words as recorded and faithfully preserved all these years in the Scripture: “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.” – Luke 21:33 “For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?” – John 5:46‭-‬47
