He was not a sinner

tjbrown7

Mine too! Thank you, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Thank you for being my light. I could have not asked for a better. May you be glorified in my life! “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” – Isaiah 53:6 “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die.” – John 12:32-33 Thank you for drawing me unto you by way of … Continue reading He was not a sinner

Goods?

tjbrown7

From him there is no liberality to dependents, no communication to the poor. And yet such people call that their own money, which they guard with jealous labour, shut up at home as if it were another’s, and from which they derive no benefit either for their friends, for their children, or, in fine, for themselves. Their possession amounts to this only, that they can keep others from possessing it; and oh, what a marvellous perversion of names! they call those things goods, which they absolutely put to none but bad uses. Cyprian of Carthage. 1886. “The Epistles of Cyprian.” … Continue reading Goods?

The message that changed the world one heart at a time! “I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’ ” – Isaiah 49:6b “I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles…” – Isaiah 42:6b “Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high. Just as many were astonished at you, So His visage was marred more than any man, And His form more than the sons of … Continue reading He who fixed the heavens

Unto the endless ages of the ages

tjbrown7

Paul had complete confidence that Christ would endure the ages to come as He said He would to the end of the ages and so did Hypolytus in 200 AD and many other believers thruout the centuries. And here we are 2 millenia later! They was right! “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” – Ephesians 3:20-21 You can trust Jesus in this age too! … Continue reading Unto the endless ages of the ages

Gnostic jesus vs Jesus

tjbrown7

God and His people were was wise to not allow the gnostic gospels to be included in with the Gospels of Scripture but rather to expose them! Two claims were made in the first and second centuries. The gnostic Naasseni and Jesus of the Gospels both made testable similar predictions. The Jesus of the Gospels in the Bible—and not the Jesus of the Naasseni writings—fulfilled their own prediction. The non-gnostic Jesus won! And He keeps winning, and only He fulfills Isaiah 49:6! Nobody would even know about Jesus if it weren’t for the Jesus of the non-gnostic Gospels in your … Continue reading Gnostic jesus vs Jesus

God matters

Celsus supposes that men “discharge the duties of life until they are loosened from its bonds,” when, in accordance with commonly received customs, they offer sacrifices to each of the gods recognised in the state; and he fails to perceive the true duty which is fulfilled by an earnest piety. For we say that he truly discharges the duties of life who is ever mindful who is his Creator, and what things are agreeable to Him, and who acts in all things so that he may please God. Again, Celsus wishes us to be thankful to these demons, imagining that … Continue reading God matters

The Pastor that loves everybody but his own family

tjbrown7

The reason why somebody does the same good act seems to matter. Is a person a good person if that person’s reason for the good he/she is doing is not good? It seems that a person can be declared good before God if they are doing good in harmony with their Creator, rather than in opposition to Him. If one’s deeds are done out of love for God and not in rebellion against Him, then that person may be considered good in God’s eyes. Maybe this is one reason why God says that all our righteousness is as filthy rags … Continue reading The Pastor that loves everybody but his own family

The center of our hearts

“And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he said, signifying what death he should die.” – John 12:32-33 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that … Continue reading The center of our hearts

All ye that are heavy laden

tjbrown7

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” – Jesus Matthew 11:28-30 Translated into shoegaze: “Drift toward Me, all you who are blurred and heavy with the static of sin and of the world, and I will drown out the noise for you. Let your weight dissolve into My feedback; soak in the hum of My … Continue reading All ye that are heavy laden
