Scholarly consensus across the spectrum of scholars is that the epistle to the Romans was written in 55-57AD and by Paul.
Never knew this before. I know the scholars do not think Paul wrote all the epistles that are attributed to him in the New Testament but maybe 6 to 7 of the 13. But I didn’t know that there was scholarly consensus on even the 6 or 7. Well, Romans is one of those that scholars believe was written barely two decades out from the crucifixion.
Scholars are all over the map on alot of issues but when the scholars (including many many many non believing scholars) are caught up with what Scripture claims it’s kind of cool.
Anyhow, God bless and be a Pauline Christian by overcoming evil with good and we all know who the greatest good is?
“And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.” – Mark 10:18
“Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” – Romans 12:17-21
