Observe

And if we observe how powerful the word has become in a very few years, notwithstanding that against those who acknowledged Christianity conspiracies were formed, and some of them on its account put to death, and others of them lost their property, and that, notwithstanding the small number of its teachers, it was preached everywhere throughout the world, so that Greeks and Barbarians, wise and foolish, gave themselves up to the worship that is through Jesus, we have no difficulty in saying that the result is beyond any human power, Jesus having taught with all authority and persuasiveness that His word should not be overcome; so that we may rightly regard as oracular responses those utterances of His, such as, “Ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles;” and, “Many shall say unto Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not eaten in Thy name, and drunk in Thy name, and in Thy name cast out devils? And I shall say unto them, Depart from Me, ye workers of iniquity, I never knew you.” Now it was perhaps (once) probable that, in uttering these words, He spoke them in vain, so that they were not true; but when that which was delivered with so much authority has come to pass, it shows that God, having really become man, delivered to men the doctrines of salvation.

Origen 225 AD from the Greek

In Genz from Copilot:

Jesus’ impact blew up fast—even though people were plotting against His followers, some were killed, others lost everything, and there were barely any teachers spreading the message. Still, the story of Jesus went global. Greeks, non‑Greeks, smart, not‑so‑smart—every kind of person started following Him. That kind of growth isn’t something humans can pull off. It shows His words carried real authority and weren’t going to be stopped.

Because of that, His sayings hit like prophecy. Stuff like: “You’ll be dragged in front of governors and kings because of Me,” and, “People will say, ‘Lord, didn’t we do all these things in Your name?’ and I’ll tell them, ‘I never knew you—leave Me.’”

At first, it might’ve sounded like dramatic talk that would never actually happen. But now that everything He said has played out, it shows something bigger was going on—God really stepped into human life and gave people the teachings that lead to salvation.

P.S. – Did you know that the Biblical writings from the BC (BCE) predicted a coming “Servant/Messiah” who would bring God’s word to the nations world over? Did you know that Jesus claimed to be that Messiah and claimed that His message would go to the nations world over? Did you know that Jesus predicted both good and bad players in His multicultural/cross border/ever enduting kingdom? Did you know Jesus said His kingdom is not of this world? And yet the gates of hell would not prevail against it.

The rest is history….
