I thought caterpillars were simpler

So is God’s universe. Check out this article of a recent discovery about caterpillars that blew the mind of one scientist! Love it when something God created blows our minds!

From article: “I stopped and tried to collect as many as I could without looking too suspicious,” he laughs. He also had to work to sustain the voracious creatures, foraging daily for nettles to feed them. “I spent multiple summers with constantly stinging hands,” he recalls.

“It’s a new example of how a fairly recently discovered sense is used, and it’s probably the tip of the iceberg,” says Eric Warrant, a neuroethologist at Lund University.

Gregory Sutton, a biomechanics scientist at the University of Lincoln, notes the authors of the new study found the novel behavior just by examining the common insects around them.

Sutton says he was surprised to learn that caterpillars are capable of electroreception. “I thought caterpillars were simpler creatures than this, but I was wrong,” he says. “It means these electrostatically sensitive hairs might be more ubiquitous than even I thought.”

“[10] I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it. [11] He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” – Ecclesiastes 3:10-11

“[10] Which doeth great things past finding out; Yea, and wonders without number. [11] Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: He passeth on also, but I perceive him not. [12] Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? Who will say unto him, What doest thou? [13]  If God will not withdraw his anger, The proud helpers do stoop under him. [14] How much less shall I answer him, And choose out my words to reason with him? [15] Whom, though I were righteous, yet would I not answer, But I would make supplication to my judge. [16] If I had called, and he had answered me; Yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.” – Godly Job from Job 9:10-16

I like to think of God’s universe like a Mandlebrot set! It seems the history of science seems to be bear this out and continues to do so! But I’m probably wrong upon further examination l…lol. it’s probably far more complex then that…lol
