
I do not hold myself to these dates, but I find it interesting that a similar thing is happening in cosmology. Formation and origin of things are being pushed back farther and farther. Almost, as if they were all CREATED in a short period of time even if you allow for billions of years.

“Three recent studies have discovered grass microfossils from the Cretaceous that have doubled the age of ancestral grasses. The evolutionary development of the grasses is still poorly understood. Grass plant fossilization rates are extremely low…..Before 2005, by default, the origin of grasses had been designated to be no older than the Cenozoic era and no one suspected that herbivorous dinosaurs ate grass. Perplexingly, by the Early Cenozoic the known grasses were relatively well developed and most likely had to have much older ancestors.”
